1. Take Control of Your Posture
From the time you enter the premises of the interview, make conscious effort to keep good posture. Stretched back, high head with shoulders that are not drooping develop a confidence that enhances your chances of delivering well and exit with the same confidence.
2. Keep that Smile On
There is nothing better than a sincere smile as it has the power to make the interviewer smile just by looking at you. Show your enthusiasm towards the job and express your eagerness.

3. Make an Eye Contact
Having good eye contact conveys confidence and sincerity. Looking into the interviewer’s eyes shows that you are actively paying attention to what they are saying.
4. Use Your Hands
Don’t fold your arms, clasp your hands or put them in your pockets. These are clear signs of anxiety and discomfort. Keep your palm upwards. This shows honesty, trustworthy and is a sign of your genuine nature. Another great hand movement you can try is keeping your arms steady when you want to emphasize a point and steeping your hands, which is a strong sign of self-confidence.
5. Firm Handshake
The first thing that you need to get right is your handshake. It is a sign that initiates conversation. Go for it first and match the grip of the interviewer. If there are more people in the room, give a handshake to each one – when you walk in and when you leave. Thank each one for their time and walk out positively.
6. Observe Your Surroundings
Do not just follow the recruiter blindly to the interview room. If you look around and notice people looking at you, acknowledge them with a slight nod and a smile. Do not appear too self-engrossed and disinterested at any time in an interview.
7. Talk Slowly
Verbal communication is as important as body language, and your mouth needs to be able to work with the rest of your body parts. If you are feeling anxious, you might end up rambling or talking too fast and risking the chances of employers not understanding what you are saying.
Think before you talk and slow your pace down. This should slow your heart rate and make you feel less nervous.
